About Charles

“I blame it on Twilight. In real life, vampires only sparkle when they’re on fire.”- Larry Correia, Monster Hunter Vendetta

“You know what the difference between me and you really is?  You look out there and see a horde of evil, brain eating zombies.  I look out there and see a target rich environment.” – Dillis D. Freeman Jr. 11/2/2001

Charles S. Gilmore was raised in a cramped house in Horseheads New York as the oldest of three siblings. Often he got around the living room by walking on chairs, and it is entirely likely that his family, particularly his Mom, had more pets than the local pet stores. At the time of this writing he is attending college at Brigham Young University Idaho aiming for a degree in English with the hope of getting his writing polished to a level that better entertains readers.

Charles has written a couple stories from beginning to end, but is still working on getting them accepted by a publisher. In the meantime, he enjoys creating in general, though the written word is definitely his most effective route to bringing stories into the world. He tends to be an optimistic realist and while he knows things may not be easy, he knows they are possible.

Update: Charles has been a bit lazy on the writing front of late, only producing shorter work for the most part and nibbling at the larger stuff, he is happily married now, and runs a YouTube channel with an emphasis on reviewing PC games and providing a degree of a walkthrough for those same games.
